Municipal Elections Set for Ranson, Shepherdstown Today – The Panhandle News Network

EASTERN PANHANDLE, W.Va. — It is Municipal Election Day in the towns of Ranson and Shepherdstown today. Polling hours are 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
City Hall offices in Ranson will be closed for municipal Election Day. They’ll reopen tomorrow at 8:00 AM.
Those who want to participate in the municipal election in Ranson should reside within the municipal boundaries of the city. Voters are encouraged to review the ward map to confirm eligibility and identify their designated voting ward.  On the ballot in Ranson are four council member seats, each with a term of four years.
In Shepherdstown, there are no contested races for the open positions that include mayor, town recorder and town council.
Polls are open till 7:30 this evening.  The Shepherdstown town hall will be closed for official business today.  Any town services scheduled for today will be suspended. Normal services will resume tomorrow.
