Don’t bother going to Fredonia Village Hall for a Board of Trustees meeting today. It’s now happening tomorrow.
The OBSERVER got noontime word from Village Clerk Makayla Yacklon that the meeting originally scheduled for 6 p.m. today is now set for at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
In addition, in an unusual move, the meeting will be held in Mayor Michael Ferguson’s first-floor conference room at Village Hall. The trustees have their own meeting room on the second floor.
The board will be short at least one member, with the recent resignation of Trustee Jon Espersen. It’s not clear who will replace him, or when. There is an item on the agenda to accept his resignation, but there is nothing about bringing on a replacement.
The state is not going to change the speed limit on Fredonia-Stockton Road. Pomfret town officials mentioned …
