London | Israel cancelled airstrikes on neighbouring Lebanon at the request of Donald Trump after the US president reportedly lashed out at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in an expletive-laden phone call, including calling him “f—ing crazy”.
Trump phoned Netanyahu on Monday (Tuesday AEST) about Israel’s military escalation in Lebanon after Iran walked away from peace talks, saying it would only return if Israel halted attacks on Lebanon and Gaza.
