Fresh details have emerged in the Surya Chauhan murder case following the police encounter in which the main accused, Asad, was killed. Surya’s mother has demanded strict action against all those allegedly involved in her son’s murder, stating that every accused should face the same fate and that action should also be taken against their properties. Meanwhile, police maintain that Asad was killed in an encounter after he allegedly opened fire on officers during an attempt to evade arrest. According to officials, Asad carried a reward of ₹50,000 and was planning to meet associates to obtain money before fleeing. Acting on intelligence inputs, police set up barricades in the Vasundhara-Indirapuram area of Ghaziabad. When officers tried to stop him, he allegedly fired first, leading to retaliatory firing. Asad was injured, taken to a hospital, and later declared dead. Investigators are also probing the role of an accomplice who reportedly escaped from the scene. Forensic teams have collected evidence, and the investigation into the encounter and murder case continues.
