A violent incident has been reported from Kasol in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu district, where a dispute over parking escalated into a shooting. According to reports, a heated argument broke out between tourists from Punjab and local residents, which quickly turned into a physical confrontation. Eyewitness visuals show a youth from Punjab allegedly brandishing a pistol and opening fire, leading to panic in the area. During the chaos, another round of firing also took place amid the clash, resulting in a local youth getting injured. The injured person has been taken for medical treatment, while his condition is being monitored. Police acted swiftly and detained four individuals in connection with the incident. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact sequence of events and identify all those involved. The shocking incident has raised concerns over rising tourist-local tensions in popular hill destinations like Kasol, especially during peak travel seasons when overcrowding and parking issues frequently lead to disputes.
