CASPER, Wyo. — The Bureau of Land Management recently announced a temporary closure of the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center in Casper for routine maintenance.
A release from the BLM says that the closure will begin on June 12 and is expected to last at least 45 days.
During this time, BLM staff will continue planning for future programming, including outdoor interpretive opportunities. They will also continue to provide updates to the public once the reopening date is confirmed. Outdoor programs will remain available to the public during the closure.
“The BLM remains committed to preserving and interpreting the nationally significant historic trails that cross public lands and to ensuring that the Trails Center continues to serve as a trusted resource for education, heritage tourism, and public engagement,” the release states.
