Kicking off their 2026 Commissioner’s Cup campaigns, the Liberty and Fever are set to face off Saturday in Brooklyn.
Heading into this season, it seemed New York would be unstoppable. With Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, Jonquel Jones and the addition of Satou Sabally, the Liberty were shaping up to be a powerhouse, but it took a while to translate onto the court. After dropping three of four games, New York enters Saturday on a three-game winning streak.
