The 2026 North America International Championships (NAIC) begin today, live from New Orleans, Louisiana, kicking off a weekend of action-packed battles in the Pokémon Video Game Championships (VGC), Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon UNITE. Join the fun by tuning in on our Broadcast Hub, Twitch, or the Play! Pokémon YouTube channel during the event. The livestream kicks off at 7:00 a.m. PDT each day and will be rebroadcast almost immediately afterward on Twitch for our global community members.
By tuning in at home, you’ll get to witness thrilling competitions as Trainers showcase their abilities on this multinational stage. Plus, you’ll have an opportunity to earn awesome in-game rewards just by watching.
Let’s dive into what you can expect during each day of the competition.
NAIC kicks off with unique opening ceremonies to celebrate this epic gathering of Trainers and New Orleans culture, with Pikachu and Eevee joining in on the fun. Right after that, the battles begin with a full day of Swiss rounds in the Pokémon VGC, Pokémon TCG, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon UNITE. Trainers are focused and vying for their opportunity to make it to the top cut on Day 2.

The competition really heats up on Day 2. Competitors will face off in intense top cut matches all day long to see which Trainers will make it to the Grand Finals on Championship Sunday and who will finish in the Top 4. Each Trainer who finishes in the Top 4 across the Pokémon VGC, Pokémon TCG, and Pokémon GO will earn a direct invitation to the Pokémon World Championships.

On the final day, we’ll witness incredible competition between masterful Trainers in the Pokémon VGC, Pokémon TCG, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon UNITE. Championship Sunday is the grand finale to crown the champions of the 2026 North America International Championships.
