VinFast has filed a design patent for the VF 8 electric SUV in India. If launched, it could be positioned as the EV maker’s flagship model.
VinFast recently unveiled the second-generation VF 8. The electric SUV comes in a new exterior design, featuring a two-tone front fascia, redesigned LED headlamps and LED DRLs. In the rear, the car gets the brand’s signature LED taillights integrated into a black fascia. It rides on new 19-inch aero-optimised wheels.
Inside, the new-gen VF 8 gets a 12.9-inch touchscreen and a 2-spoke steering wheel with a digital instrument cluster. It offers features such as dual-zone automatic climate control, a 6-way powered driver’s seat with memory function, an 8-speaker sound system and ADAS with a 360-degree camera.
The VinFast VF 8 is equipped with a 60.13 kWh battery, which powers a front-mounted electric motor. It packs 225 BHP and 330 Nm and has a claimed maximum range of 500 km.
