The summer transfer window has officially opened and while the main attention is on the World Cup, clubs are working away on major deals. For most clubs, planning will already be complete and they will have identified which players they want to sign, and which players they want to sell.

According to reports in Spain, Barcelona are preparing a €150 million bid for Julián Alvarez. A war of words has began between the LaLiga champions and Atlético Madrid after an initial €100m offer was rejected, but Alvarez wants to join Barca.
Arsenal and Manchester United are considering bids for Bournemouth’s Alex Scott. The 22-year-old enjoyed an excellent season with the Cherries and it’s understood that they value him at around €70m.
Malo Gusto is a target for Manchester City with Enzo Maresca keen on a reunion with the Chelsea right-back. The French international could be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge with Chelsea closing in on a deal for Marco Palestra.
