Mumbai: Chrome DM has released its latest Opportunity to See (OTS) report for Week 14’26 (April 4–10), offering a detailed snapshot of channel availability across Hindi and English news segments.
The report underscores the extensive distribution reach of Hindi news channels, with Times Now Navbharat leading the segment at 98.46% OTS, followed closely by Aaj Tak at 98.12% and ABP News at 96.24%. Good News Today recorded 95.01%, while India TV stood at 92.76%, reflecting strong accessibility across TV households.
In the English news category, Republic TV topped the chart with 88.32% OTS, followed by RT News at 81.32%. CNN News18 registered 76.95%, while India Today TV and Mirror Now posted 70.61% and 64.48% respectively.
The report highlights Chrome DM’s focus on measuring Opportunity to See, a key metric that reflects the percentage of channel availability across TV households, factoring in package off-take across distribution platforms in India.
By mapping channel accessibility and distribution reach, the report offers critical insights for broadcasters, advertisers, and media planners to evaluate market presence and identify opportunities for expansion. It also reinforces the importance of distribution strategy in driving visibility and audience reach in an increasingly competitive news television landscape.
