Last week, Bath Digital Festival 2026 welcomed the tech and creative community for three days of talks, workshops, showcases, networking and new ideas.
Built around the theme “What If?”, the festival explored the possibilities, challenges and opportunities shaping the future of technology, innovation and digital creativity, bringing together founders, innovators, businesses and community leaders from across the region.

Bristol-based software company Symmetry has reported nearly £3m in revenue and £449,000 in profit during its first year as an employee-owned business.
The company, which develops the bluQube cloud accounting platform, credited strong customer retention, continued demand and ongoing investment in its cloud infrastructure for the positive results.

Creative technology company Aer Studios has secured a residency at The Sheds, Bristol’s flagship creative technology hub in the Temple Quarter.

Angel Investors Bristol has surpassed £2.1 million in investments across 24 early-stage businesses and is now looking to grow its membership as demand for funding continues to rise.
The network has backed a range of South West startups spanning health, life sciences, technology, sustainability and the creative industries, while also strengthening its support for founders through a new advisory board.

The Silicon Gorge Catalyst Semi-Finals took place last week, bringing together ambitious founders, innovative ideas and a supportive community from across the South West.
