INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A prolonged stretch of quiet and pretty dry weather is coming to Central Indiana over the next 1-2 weeks.
WEDNESDAY EVENING/NIGHT:
Lingering rain & thunder will exit to the southeast. Look for fair skies overall tonight with some areas of fog possible… and some could be locally dense if it forms. Lows will be in the low 60s and upper 50s with winds remaining light.
THURSDAY:
Some early fog is possible. Otherwise, a nice late May day is in order with highs around 80. Humidity levels will slowly fall throughout the day as northeasterly winds usher in drier air.
THURSDAY NIGHT:
Mostly clear, quiet, and seasonable. Lows in the 50s.
FRIDAY:
Partly cloudy and pleasant. Highs in the mid to upper 70s.
WEEKEND:
Things are shaping up to be very nice for outdoor activities all weekend long. Highs in the 70s are on tap with lows mainly in the 50s. Conditions look good for the Indy Eleven match Saturday evening. There won’t be any issues for the Indians baseball games either.
LOOKING AHEAD:
The overall weather pattern for the next 1-2 weeks doesn’t look to be very active for our part of the world. Not to say we won’t have some rain or storms at some point, but we are going to take a pause from the active, wet, and stormy weather pattern we’ve been in recently. This really looks like the quietest stretch of weather for 2026 so far.
