NielsenIQ Elevates Poornima Subramanian as India GCC HR Leader
Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India – May 2026 — NielsenIQ (NIQ) has elevated Poornima Subramanian to the position of India GCC HR Leader.
In her expanded role, Subramanian will lead the people and talent agenda for NielsenIQ’s Global Capability Center (GCC) operations in India, supporting organizational growth, workforce capability, employee experience, talent development, and HR transformation initiatives.
Subramanian has been associated with NielsenIQ for more than four years. Prior to her elevation, she served as Associate Director – Human Resources, where she played a key role in driving human resources initiatives, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and people programs across the organization.
Before joining NielsenIQ, she served as Senior Manager – Human Resources at D4 Insight, where she led the HR function and focused on creating a vibrant workplace culture, strengthening employee engagement, and enhancing the overall employee experience.
Earlier, she worked with BNY Mellon Technology India as Senior HR Advisor, supporting India business units through HR advisory, performance management, rewards and recognition programs, employee engagement initiatives, attrition analysis, and organizational development programs. She also played a significant role in the organization’s Great Place to Work participation initiatives.
A major part of her professional career was spent with Ramco Systems, where she served as Manager – Human Resources for more than a decade. During her tenure, she supported business teams across India and international markets including South Africa, the Middle East, and Sudan. Her responsibilities included HR business partnering, HRIS management, compensation framework design, HR analytics, employee engagement, performance management systems, and HR process quality management aligned with global standards.
Throughout her career, Subramanian has built expertise across HR business partnering, talent management, employee engagement, compensation and rewards, HR technology, HR analytics, performance management, organizational development, workforce planning, and employee experience.
