New Jersey lawmakers are considering creating guidelines for AI use among state professionals.
As technology continues to advance and AI becomes more prominent, assemblymembers Tennille R. McCoy, Balvir Singh and Luanne Peterpaul are sponsoring Bill A4731 to establish regulations for these professionals using generative AI.
The goal is to set clear standards while ensuring the use of AI is both ethical and fair.
The bill would also require the Division of Consumer Affairs to develop a standard policy for how licensed professionals in New Jersey may use generative AI across all state regulatory boards.
