The Garmin Lily 2 Active software version 5.10 update is now available for smartwatch users. The release has landed around a month after the version 5.09 software, which was said to improve the stability of the wearable in colder temperatures.
The release notes for Garmin’s software version 5.10, shared in a post on the brand’s official forum, list two changes. The first is a bug fix for a problem where the second hand was not displayed as expected on some of the Lily 2 Active’s watch faces. Secondly, the Language section has been moved to the top of the watch’s Settings menu, which can be accessed by pressing the lower of the two physical buttons.

One bug that does not appear to have been resolved with software version 5.10 is linked to the device’s heart rate sensor. A number of users have flagged this issue, where the green LED lights on the back of the watch are not switching on, in the Garmin forum. If you are experiencing this issue, the latest guidance from Garmin is to contact your local Product Support team to discuss “available options”.

Software version 5.10 is now available for all users of the Garmin Lily 2 Active smartwatch (curr. $249.99 at Amazon). The update should be pushed to your watch automatically when connected to the Garmin Connect app or Garmin Express.
