Next-gen Creta Hybrid expected in 2027. New three-row hybrid SUV coming by the end of 2027. Palisade Hybrid could launch in India by 2028.
Hyundai is getting ready to bring more hybrid SUVs to India. The company is planning several new models over the next few years, including a hybrid version of the next-generation Creta, a new three-row SUV, and the Palisade Hybrid. These cars will give buyers more fuel-efficient options without switching fully to electric vehicles.
The next-generation Creta Hybrid is expected to arrive in 2027. It will likely be Hyundai’s first high-volume hybrid SUV in India. The new Creta may be a little bigger than the current one and will have a more modern interior.
Inside, the cabin is expected to have bigger screens, better materials, and new connected car features. The hybrid engine will help save fuel, especially in city traffic. Existing petrol and diesel engines will likely remain available as well.

Hyundai is also working on a new three-row SUV, called Ni1i internally. This SUV could launch towards the end of 2027. It will sit between the Alcazar and the old Tucson.
The SUV is expected to have a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor. It might be able to run on electric power alone at low speeds, which will help save fuel in traffic. This SUV is aimed at families who need more space but also want better fuel efficiency.
The Palisade Hybrid is the biggest SUV in Hyundai’s hybrid plan. It could come to India around 2028. The Palisade already sells in other countries and has three rows of seats, a premium interior, and safety features.
The hybrid system pairs a petrol engine with an electric motor to save fuel while keeping power. If it comes to India, it will likely be Hyundai’s most expensive SUV.
