Google's Agentic AI Tool Gemini Spark Is Now Available. Here's How to Try It – PCMag UK

After showcasing the tool at I/O 2026, Google’s new agentic AI tool, Gemini Spark, is now available in the US.
The search giant describes Spark as a “24/7 personal agent” that can run tasks in the background on Google Cloud, even when your computer or phone is off. It runs on Google’s Gemini Flash 3.5 model and is built on Google’s Antigravity platform.
The AI tool goes beyond what Google Gemini alone offers, as it can take actions on users’ behalf, such as booking a flight or a hotel room. However, unlike other agentic tools already on the market, it offers native integration with Google’s existing and widely used suite of products.
For example, Spark could build an outreach target list for your business using emails stored in your Gmail account or meetings stored in your Google Calendar. Or it could automatically list and record price differences between vendors when planning a wedding or home renovation, using data it pulls from your Gmail account.
For now, Gemini Spark is currently only available for Google AI Ultra subscribers, meaning you’ll need to spend at least $100 per month. That plan comes with up to 20TB of cloud storage and access to Google Antigravity, its agentic development platform. A 30TB plan with higher usage limits is $199.99 per month.
Once you sign up, you can try Spark via gemini.google or in the Gemini app.
Gemini Spark’s release comes amid numerous other big AI announcements from Google. These include an extensive redesign of the Google Gemini user interface, as well as Gemini Omni, a new creative video model that can combine images, audio, video, and text as input. In addition, Google also announced a desktop macOS app for Gemini. 
Gemini Spark isn’t confined to the Google ecosystem. The company says it is launching with connections to design app Canva, restaurant booking service OpenTable, and grocery retailer Instacart, and plans to add more integrations in the coming weeks. Brands like Adobe, Uber, Spotify and Booking.com were included in an infographic of its upcoming partners.
Google also says it plans to progressively add new capabilities, including the ability to text or email Spark, create custom sub-agents, and operate your local browser.
