Yesterday, Garmin delivered new beta updates for the Venu X1, Vivoactive 6, Forerunner 570 and Forerunner 970. Now, the company has returned with a comparable update for the Venu 4 (curr. $499 on Amazon). According to Garmin, it has brought 13 changes to the latter smartwatch, including updated translations.
Additionally, the arrival of Beta 17.25 coincides with Garmin Connect Mobile receiving additional translations via a v3.90 update of its own. The new beta update does not contain any new features, though. Instead, it focuses on bug fixes like one that caused the Venu 4 to enter recovery mode during a software update.
Moreover, Beta 17.25 is said to resolve two issues that resulted in device resets on older builds. Reportedly, the new update improves battery estimate accuracy too, among other changes. Beta 17.25 must be downloaded manually by navigating through the Main Menu on a Beta Program-enrolled Venu 4 before selecting Settings, System, Software Update and then ‘Check for Updates’. The full changelog between Beta 17.19 and Beta 17.25 is as follows:
