The body of a jet ski passenger was recovered early Wednesday from a pond in Lakeville, Massachusetts.
Lakeville Police and Fire Departments responded at about 6 p.m. Tuesday to Long Pond, in the area of Nelson Island and Big Beach, in response to reports that a passenger had fallen off a jet ski.
Officials found the body of a 24-year-old Brockton woman at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday. Her name is not being released at this time.
The incident is under investigation by Lakeville Police, the Massachusetts Environmental Police and State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.
