New Delhi: Aaj Tak led YouTube live-stream concurrency among Hindi news channels on the vote-counting day for the assembly elections in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam and Puducherry, recording 5.9 lakh average concurrents between 6 am and 2.40 pm on Monday, according to real-time data.
News18 India followed with 5.1 lakh average concurrents during the same period.
The trendline shows Aaj Tak crossing the 10 lakh peak concurrency mark during the key counting hours. News18 India, which remained the closest challenger through the day, peaked at nearly 9 lakh concurrents.
India TV ranked third with 2.7 lakh average concurrents. Its peak concurrency stood at around 4.6 lakh.
Zee News recorded 1.5 lakh average concurrents and peaked at about 2.3 lakh. ABP News averaged 1.4 lakh concurrents and touched a peak of around 2.8 lakh.
NDTV India recorded 1.1 lakh average concurrents, with its peak close to 1.9 lakh.
Republic Bharat averaged 0.8 lakh concurrents, while Times Now Navbharat and TV9 Bharatvarsh recorded 0.72 lakh and 0.66 lakh average concurrents, respectively.
The chart indicates that Republic Bharat, Times Now Navbharat and TV9 Bharatvarsh remained in the lower band, with peak concurrency broadly around the 1 lakh-1.5 lakh range.
