Discover the new movies coming out this week (June 29 – July 5, 2026): ‘Minions & Monsters,’ ‘Enola Holmes 3,’ ‘Young Washington,’ and more!
Table of Contents
It’s a big week at the box office and on your streaming queues, and honestly, we couldn’t have scripted it better ourselves!
Leading the charge are two of the most anticipated releases of the summer: Minions & Monsters, which sends the beloved yellow troublemakers on a hilariously catastrophic collision course with 1920s Hollywood and a real monster, and Enola Holmes 3, which brings Millie Bobby Brown back as everyone’s favorite Holmes sibling, this time trading wedding vows for a kidnapping case.
But the chaos doesn’t stop there. For history buffs, Young Washington offers a gripping, deeply human look at a Founding Father before he was one, arriving in theaters just in time for America’s 250th anniversary. Horror fans, meanwhile, have Lockbox to look forward to, a slow-burn supernatural thriller starring Carla Gugino that promises to keep you sleeping with the lights on. And if you’re in the mood for something quieter and more profound, the documentary Mary Oliver: Saved by the Beauty of the World is a luminous portrait of America’s most beloved poet that may just be the most emotionally rewarding watch of the week.
This week’s lineup has something for just about everyone, whether you’re heading to the multiplex or streaming from your couch!
