ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — North Georgia is in the sweet spot of a weather pattern that will last through Saturday. Dry skies and seasonal temperatures will dominate the weekend with only spotty rain chances by Sunday.
Expect clear to mostly clear skies with light winds and comfortable humidity levels. Low temperatures will drop into the upper 50s to low 60s — great sleeping weather if you crack a window.
Saturday will be another beautiful day to wrap up this pleasant pattern. Highs will climb into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees, with humidity still manageable. Winds will be light, and skies will remain mostly clear to partly cloudy. It’s a great day to get outdoor plans done.
Starting Sunday, things will change. Gulf moisture will begin moving back into North Georgia, bringing humidity levels back up to more noticeable levels. Along with that moisture comes the return of spotty shower and storm chances. Most of Sunday is dry, but there could be a quick, passing shower.
