The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed a plea by the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) against a Delhi High Court order allowing wrestler Vinesh Phogat to participate in selection trials, terming it as infructuous in view of subsequent developments.
Without directing the expunging of “objectionable” observations in the high court order, the bench said all the issues are left open and dismissed the WFI’s plea.
