HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A plume of moisture will move over the state from southeast to northwest through Wednesday. Moderate to occasionally heavy showers shift westward on Wednesday.
Windward and mauka areas could see minor flooding, similar to what the windward Big Island experienced on Tuesday. A more typical (drier but not dry) trade wind pattern will return late Wednesday and continue into early next week.
High Surf Advisory continues for the south shores as the swell peaks today. Moderate north swells will hold firm through Thursday. East wind swell is expected to build as trade winds pick up through Thursday.
