KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has described his meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a “productive hour-long conversation,” emphasizing a shared vision for strengthening Nepal-India relations.
In a social media post, Lamichhane said both sides discussed moving beyond “past constraints” to build a new phase of ‘development diplomacy’ grounded in civilizational ties, digital connectivity, and improved cross-border linkages.
He said he shares Modi’s vision for a future based on mutual trust and cooperation, adding that the RSP looks forward to turning these opportunities into tangible outcomes for the people of both Nepal and India through shared prosperity.
