Police: Woman dead after stabbing at Skyline Chili in Norwood; suspect in custody – WLWT

A woman has died and a man was arrested after a stabbing at a Skyline Chili restaurant in Norwood on Tuesday afternoon.
Norwood Police said the stabbing happened in the 4500 block of Montgomery Road, around 12:30 p.m.
Police said officers found a woman who had been stabbed when they responded. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she died.
According to court documents, 37-year-old Rick Wright was arrested in connection with the stabbing and charged with murder.
Investigators haven’t released the name or age of the woman who died. Sources said she was an employee at Skyline and that Wright was her ex-boyfriend.
WLWT is not reporting the name of the victim until it is released by the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office. Her family said she was a mother of two young children.
Wright was taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center and has been charged with murder.
According to court documents, Wright had a warrant for his arrest after he violated probation from an assault charge dating back to February of last year.
An investigation into the stabbing by Norwood Police is ongoing.
