TCI Express Ltd, India’s leading express distribution company, has announced its audited financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026, reporting steady operational growth, continued network expansion, and the achievement of several major business milestones during the year. During FY2026, the company handled more than one million tonnes of cargo and maintained its debt-free balance sheet, underscoring the scale and financial resilience of its operations. TCI Express also crossed the ₹10 billion balance sheet milestone during the year, reflecting sustained business expansion and operational strength.
The company continued to strengthen its multimodal logistics network across Surface, Rail, Domestic Air, International Air, C2C, and E-Commerce segments through infrastructure expansion, technology integration, and service enhancements. According to the company, growth during the year was supported by increasing customer additions, rising demand from industrial sectors, and broader adoption of technology-enabled logistics solutions.
Despite operating challenges that included geopolitical tensions in West Asia, elevated aviation fuel prices, increasing labour costs, and temporary disruptions in select markets, TCI Express maintained stable EBITDA and PAT margins through network optimisation, cost management, and operational efficiency initiatives.
Commenting on the performance, Managing Director Chander Agarwal said the company delivered consistent business momentum during the fourth quarter and maintained growth for the second consecutive quarter. “Demand remained healthy across sectors such as pharmaceuticals, automotive, engineering, renewable energy, and SME-led shipments. Our diversified multimodal network and customer-focused approach enabled us to deliver resilient performance despite external challenges,” he said.
Surface Express remained the company’s largest business segment during the quarter, supported by industrial cargo demand and expansion across key markets. TCI Express also strengthened its branch network and enhanced last-mile delivery capabilities while commissioning an upgraded sorting centre in Nagpur to improve cargo handling and turnaround efficiency.
Other logistics segments also recorded encouraging growth during the year. Rail Express benefited from rising adoption of rail-based cargo movement and expansion along long-haul corridors. Domestic Air Express witnessed increased movement of pharmaceutical and temperature-sensitive shipments, while International Air Express expanded through new customer additions and international cargo partnerships.
The company’s C2C and E-Commerce divisions also maintained strong momentum, driven by rising direct-to-consumer shipments and expanding last-mile delivery operations. Looking ahead, TCI Express stated that it remains focused on expanding infrastructure, increasing automation, scaling rail-led logistics solutions, and strengthening technology-enabled operations across service verticals. The company also plans to enhance specialised cargo handling capabilities and continue expanding its B2C delivery network.
