The FIFA 2026 World Cup continues on Monday with a full slate of group stage action, featuring four matches throughout the day. Here’s where and how to watch today’s games live on TV, including tournament-favorite Spain.
Spain will kick off the first game of the day on Monday against World Cup newcomer Cape Verde at noon, ET and Saudi Arabia will play Urugay later in Miami.
On Monday afternoon, Belgium will face off against Egypt in what is expected to be the more competitive match of the day. That group will close out the day with New Zealand against Iran in Los Angeles in the primetime evening slot.
The opening weekend of the World Cup delivered a mix of dominant performances including Germany’s 7-1 win over Curaçao, Sweden’s 5-1 win over Tunisia and the USA 4-1 win over Paraguay. Some of the more surprising results however ended in draws, such as the Brazil nailbiter 1-1 against Morocco or the 2-2 tie between the Netherlands and Japan.
The men’s 2026 FIFA World Cup schedule begins with 48 teams kicking off on Thursday, June 11 over a 39 day schedule with 104 matches as follows:
With multiple games taking place daily during the tournament across different cities and time zones, the World Cup match times will vary throughout the day.
Checking the daily schedule is key if you want to catch specific teams or matchups.
Most of the World Cup games will air live on major TV networks in the U.S., making it relatively easy to watch matches without special subscriptions if you have cable or a digital antenna.
English-language coverage will be primarily carried on FOX and FS1, with many of the biggest matchups — including knockout rounds and the final — airing on regular broadcast TV channels. Spanish-language coverage will also be available on Telemundo and Universo.
Telemundo will air 92 games on its free over-the-air station, with the other 12 airing on Universo.
If you don’t have cable TV, there are other ways to stream every match lilve.
Streaming services such as YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Fubo and DirecTV Stream carry the same channels that will be airing the World Cup games, letting you follow the FIFA tournament in real time. FOX’s own platforms, including its app and direct-to-consumer options, also provide access to live matches.
