Traffic was severely backed up following a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 83 in Dauphin County.

The collision happened in the southbound lanes near Exit 44, 17th Street, in Harrisburg, around 6:20 a.m. on Thursday.
The crash blocked multiple lanes of Interstate 83 southbound, causing an extensive backup and traffic that was nearly at a standstill.
The scene has since cleared, and all lanes have reopened.
Emergency dispatchers said no injuries have been reported.
