Once again, the Amazon Prime Day sale is coming around with a deluge of deals on everything from smartphones to fitness trackers, tablets and more. It’s easily the best event of the summer for any tech fans looking to upgrade their current set-up without breaking the bank.
The next big sale after Prime Day is another of Amazon’s own inventions, the Prime Big Deal Days sale, but that’s unlikely to occur until October, so it’s a long wait for another chance to save across the board. Beyond that is Black Friday, where all online retailers, not just Amazon, will get involved, so there’s a ton of variety (even if it does end up being more chaotic than Prime Day).
As much as we love Amazon’s summer sale as a chance to save a big chunk of cash, especially when prices continue to rise on major tech items, Prime Day can be tricky to navigate if you don’t have the time to invest in all that it has to offer – but that’s exactly where we come in.

The 2026 Amazon Prime Day sale will take place from 23-26 June, meaning that the entire event will span the course of four days.
This is similar to the change that was brought in last year, extending the sale to a four-day stint after being a two-day event for several years. What’s different this time around is that the whole sale is taking place earlier than expected, with previous Prime Days typically scheduled for July.
While the longer sale will mean there’s more to keep track of, it should hopefully result in more opportunities to save on the devices that you actually want to buy.

Even though the Prime Day sale has yet to officially kick off, that hasn’t stopped Amazon from peppering its site with a few early deals to whet the appetite.

Prime Day is Amazon’s exclusive sales event that’s only accessible to those with an active Amazon Prime subscription. There are no restrictions on when you can sign up for the service in order to access the available deals, so if you spot a great deal and decide you want to get in on the action, you can do just that and still enjoy the remainder of the sale.
For anyone who has yet to sign up to Prime or is curious about giving it a go so that they can get on board with the Prime Day sale, you’re in luck as you should be able to access a 30-day free trial.
Amazon Prime will set you back £8.99/$14.99 a month after the free trial runs out, but if you cancel your membership before the end of that 30-day period, you won’t be charged a penny.
Prime Day 2026 will come to an end at midnight on Friday, 26 June, completing the four-day cycle set aside for the event.
Although you can head straight to Amazon’s deals page and scour the site’s offerings yourself, you’ll be met with an onslaught of offers, often including lacklustre products or discounts that aren’t actually that good.
