TMUS Global Solutions (T-Mobile USA) has inaugurated its new Global Technology Centre in Hyderabad, expanding its technology and innovation footprint outside the United States.
T-Mobile is one of the largest wireless network operators in the United States, serving over 140 million customers and powering next-generation connectivity solutions.
The 2.5 lakh sq ft GTC will serve as a strategic innovation centre, building advanced capabilities across software engineering, DevOps, product development, data analytics, and cybersecurity. The centre will support the development of scalable technology solutions serving technology operations and customer experiences.
The company plans to scale its Hyderabad centre to nearly 1,000 employees by 2027.
“The T-Mobile centre will further strengthen Telangana’s role as a hub for advanced technology, engineering, and innovation capabilities,” Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Telangana Minister for IT, Electronics, and Communications, said, addressing a gathering after inaugurating the facility.
“Over the last two years, we have built one of the most diverse and high-value GCC ecosystems in the country. Our talent today is not limited to one sector or one technology. Engineers and innovators from Hyderabad are solving complex challenges across telecom, AI, life sciences, semiconductors, BFSI, retail, and several other industries,” he said.
“Our Global Technology Centre in Hyderabad will play an important role in strengthening our engineering and digital capabilities, while enabling teams to build solutions that support our customers and business priorities,” Chandra Gupta, Vice President, Information Technology, TMUS Global Solutions, said here.
