Sigenergy Launches AI Agent For Energy Systems – Construction World

Sigenergy has introduced SigenAgent, described as the energy industry’s first all-domain AI agent, during its ‘AI in All’ event. The platform is designed to move solar-and-storage systems from reactive hardware to autonomous, goal-driven energy systems for households and businesses.
SigenAgent works through a continuous loop of perception, reasoning and action. It analyses real-time factors such as weather patterns, electricity prices and grid conditions to determine and execute the most efficient operating strategy. Users can set broad goals, such as reducing electricity bills or securing backup power, while the system manages hardware settings automatically.
The platform includes four key capabilities. Energy Manager enables autonomous operation of home solar-and-storage systems. System Doctor conducts rapid system-wide diagnosis and identifies anomalies. Power Trader supports storage asset optimisation in high-frequency electricity markets and virtual power plant responses. Business Assistant connects with enterprise data lakes to provide operational recommendations.
Sigenergy said SigenAgent builds on its integrated hardware and software ecosystem, with over 200,000 power stations globally using its systems. Existing units can access agent features through over-the-air software updates. The system includes user authorisation for critical changes, localised data storage across six global data centres, offline backup strategies and transparent AI decision mapping.
The company has also collaborated with Frost & Sullivan to publish the 2026 AI-Powered New Energy White Paper, which introduces the Energy Intelligence Level framework to guide the transition towards autonomous, system-wide energy optimisation.
