The Share-A-Christmas application process has changed this year.
Those wishing to apply should call in July to reserve a time and date for their application appointment. In-person appointments will be held in September.
Applicants may call 330-343-6012 from July 6-30, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., to schedule an appointment. Application appointments will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 202 E. High Ave., New Philadelphia in September.
At their appointment, applicants should bring proof of all income, including food assistance, disability, housing, child support, work income, alimony, Social Security and a letter from an employer if paid in cash. They also should bring identification and proof of residency.
Children should not attend the appointment, and only one person per household should attend.
The July 17-18 church festival will feature live music, raffles, food and volunteer opportunities at St. Joseph Church
