Indiana police are investigating a head-on crash in Dearborn County that left two people dead and three others injured overnight.
According to the Indiana State Police, the crash occurred on US Route 52 near the intersection with State Road 46 around 3 a.m. Sunday morning.
Police say that the crash involved a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck. Two of the occupants of the passenger vehicle were reported dead as a result of the collision, while two others have potentially life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the semi-truck also reportedly sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Additional details about the incident, including its cause, were not immediately available from police.
The crash continues to be investigated by the Indiana State Police Crash Reconstruction Team.
