Pocket Casts for iOS has picked up a fresh visual overhaul this week. The latest version brings Apple’s Liquid Glass design language to one of the most popular podcast apps on the platform.
The update arrives as Liquid Glass continues to shape the look of modern iOS. Introduced with iOS 26 last summer and refined further in iOS 27 this week, Liquid Glass emphasizes translucent surfaces, depth, light, and motion.
Pocket Casts leans into that direction with an interface the company says now feels “lighter, glassier, and a little more magical.”
Here’s how Liquid Glass looks in Pocket Casts on iOS 27:
While the redesign is the headline, Pocket Casts 8.13 includes several practical improvements too.
Podcast pages now support context menus, chapter art appears in the mini player, and Up Next episode titles can expand to two lines.
Widgets can also tint podcast artwork, while multi-select mode hides the tab bar to free up more space.
There are smaller fixes as well, including improved player dismissal gestures, better scrolling behavior, a corrected “Show Archived” toggle during search, and fewer artwork placeholder flashes in the full player.
Pocket Casts is available in the App Store.
