Person stabbed multiple times in Jefferson Hills identified by medical examiner – WTAE

UPDATE: 6/21/26:
Allegheny County officials have provided more information on the large police presence that took place in Jefferson Hills on Saturday, saying police and first responders were on scene due to a fatal stabbing.
In an update late Saturday night, authorities said they were called to the 100 block of Arnoni Drive due to the discovery of an unresponsive man who was first reported to be shot.
The man, who was later identified as 69-year-old Alhaji Buhari, died on the scene after suffering multiple stab wounds, police later said.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office officially ruled Buhari’s death a homicide on Sunday.
The area has since been deemed safe for residents.
An investigation remains ongoing.

The Jefferson Hills Police Department and Fire Rescue are urging residents to avoid one area, citing a “heavy police presence.”
In a post online, police and fire rescue officials are asking residents and drivers to avoid Arnoni Drive in Jefferson Hills.
“Please avoid the area while first responders work an active scene,” officials said.
Allegheny County dispatchers told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that crews were called to the scene just before 4 p.m. and that no one has been taken to the hospital.
It is unclear what led to the incident.

“We see one cop car, like, okay, nothing too crazy. Then we see two cop cars, and then next thing you know, we see, like ten cop cars,” witness Joshua Hurtado told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4, “We see that there’s like three guns pointing at the house, like three rifles.”
