Person hospitalized with critical injuries after shooting in Colerain Township, police say – WLWT

Colerain Township officials say that they are investigating a shooting that occurred near Northwest High School on Sunday.
According to township officials, local police were called out to a home on Butterwick Drive at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Sunday for a report of a shooting there.
Butterwick Drive is a residential street that is situated just a block away from Northwest High School. The street is also located just a few yards away from Interstate 275.
When first responders arrived on scene, the person was said to have been rushed to a nearby hospital, where they are now being treated for potentially life-threatening injuries.
Local police continue to remain at the scene of the shooting as of Sunday evening.
It remains unknown what may have led up to the shooting or if police have a suspect in custody in connection with the incident.
More information will be released about the shooting on Monday morning, township officials say.
