A divorce filing by podcaster and creator Lena The Plug, the wife of podcaster and adult content creator Adam22, has surfaced, but she says the filing didn’t come from her.
Lena Nersesian, who is married to “No Jumper” podcast cohost Adam Grandmaison, said in an Instagram video that “someone who is not me has been trying to file for divorce on my behalf.” TMZ was first to report the news that a filing under Nersesian’s legal name was submitted in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, June 1, which she responded to on June 4.
According to the court documents obtained by USA TODAY June 4, Nersesian is listed as a petitioner seeking to end her three-year marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. The filing also says she is seeking sole legal and physical custody of their 5-year-old daughter, Parker, requesting both child support and spousal support, and alleging she has had “no access” to the couple’s funds.
But Nersesian says she did not file the paperwork and believes someone else is purposely using her name and forging documents.
She said incorrect filings were previously sent to her home, sharing photos of the filings in the video, and that she believes she knows the person behind it, as checks tied to the filing included another person’s name.
Nersesian denied many of the details in the filing, including that she has no other income aside from nearly $3,000 in monthly spousal support from Grandmaison, 42. “Not true,” she said. “We’re both breadwinners, but I make more most of the time, and I have access to all of my finances.”
USA TODAY has reached out to Grandmaison’s rep for comment.
She admitted the situation is “insane” and that she has tried contacting the courthouse about the filing, but “They’re like, ‘Wait, we don’t know, because you filed it.'”
Upon news of the divorce filing, Grandmaison offered a provocative response to the split. He reposted TMZ’s coverage on his Instagram story June 3, commenting, “All black women who want to date me please DM me I will buy you a car.” He later wrote in his story the word “freedom.”
But Nersesian notes on the day the petition was filed, her birthday, she was with Grandmaison and her daughter, shopping.
“It sounds made up. It’s not,” she said. “Ten years strong. We’re still going.”
The couple has a podcast together, “Plug Talk,” in addition to their work shooting OnlyFans content, while Grandmaison hosts “No Jumper” with rapper Lush One. The couple has appeared together and separately in the content, per TMZ, with guests from their content appearing on the podcast.
