There’s not much in the way of the usual Star Wars or Marvel offerings on Disney+ this month. However, the streamer is bringing something arguably even bigger.
That comes in the form of “Avatar: Fire and Ash.” Director James Cameron’s sci-fi epic made almost $1.5 billion at the box office, becoming the third-highest-grossing film of 2025.
Premiering Wednesday, June 24, it sees Jake Sully uniting the natives of alien world Pandora against both Colonel Quaritch (Stephen Lang) and Varang, brutal leader of the Mangkwan clan, portrayed by Oona Chaplin.
Airing the same day is the Season 3 premier of “Behind the Attraction,” which takes you behind-the-scenes of Disney’s iconic Cruise Line ride in a two-episode special.
There’s also the “Bonnaroo” Livestream Day 1, which begins at 7:45pm ET. The four-day camping and music festival in Manchester, Tennessee will be perfect for a bit of background entertainment.
