Ángel Díaz, associate professor of law at LMU Loyola Law School, commented on the growing number of police forces around the country using artificial intelligence to write their reports. “In the name of efficiency, we are making it okay to monitor people 24/7…the data might be collected for one purpose, but might then subsequently be used for a very different purpose.”
