The betting odds were right this time.
After entering the second consecutive NASCAR Cup Series race as a massive favorite, Shane van Gisbergen won the Toyota/Save Mart 350 on June 28 at Sonoma Raceway. The road-course specialist was taken out in an early pile-up during last week’s street race at Naval Base Coronado.
But in the final roadie of 2026, he returned to Victory Lane for the second time this season, leading 74 laps and clipping runner-up Chase Briscoe by less than a second. Ty Gibbs placed third.
Here is the finishing order for an event that also marked the opening of the In-Season Challenge.
