Police say that a man has been arrested after he led officers on a prolonged chase across multiple jurisdictions Saturday afternoon.
According to the Lockland Police Department, the incident started around 2:47 p.m. as a “possible psychiatric emergency” and “rolling domestic” call, where officers were advised to be on the lookout for a suspect who had several outstanding felony warrants against him and was believed to be armed.
A few minutes later, police say that the suspect in question was spotted while he was driving northbound on Interstate 75 in Evendale, causing an officer to attempt to pull over the man’s vehicle.
However, the man refused to comply, leading officers on a chase up to Butler County, before he later turned around and headed south back into Hamilton County on I-75.

Police say that the chase eventually came to an end after the man collided with multiple vehicles on I-75 near the Paddock Road exit in Carthage, where he then proceeded to get out of his vehicle and flee the scene on foot.
The suspect was later arrested a short distance away from the interstate by responding Cincinnati police officers.
According to OHGO, multiple lane closures were implemented on Interstate 75 just after 3:30 p.m. near the Paddock Road exit as a result of the chase. Both north and southbound lanes were said to have been affected.
More than one passenger was later said to have been found at the scene inside the suspect’s vehicle by responding officers, with all transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment after the crash. All are believed to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police later removed all lane restrictions on I-75 in the area of Paddock Road at approximately 6 p.m.
The suspect in the case has not yet been publicly identified. It also remains unknown what charges he may be facing in relation to the incident.
