Storm Team 4 is monitoring several rounds of strong to severe storms between now and Thursday night.
Some of these storms could produce gusty winds, hail, and an isolated tornado.

The first round of thunderstorms has passed, but another round of storms may quickly follow the first — mainly striking during the late evening hours. Areas that were missed by the first round of storms stand the best chance for severe weather with this round.

We’ll be posting updates as these storms work their way through our viewing area. Check back often for new information.
Latest updates:
5:36 p.m. — A large tree toppled onto a home on the north side of Lomira in Dodge County during storms that brought heavy winds through the area.
Neighbors who were across the street at the time said the strongest winds came through around 3 p.m. The tree, which appeared to have stood on the property for decades, was left leaning against the white house after the storm passed.

4:59 p.m. — We continue to get more reports of storm damage – this time in Lomira, where a tree fell and appears to be covering a house.
There’s no word yet on any injuries or specific damage to the home.
4:40 p.m. — Lauren Larsen has arrived with the TMJ4 Storm Chaser to report on storm damage in Horicon.
Residents are being advised to avoid the downtown area as crews work to clean up.

4:17 p.m. — 34,000 We Energies customers are now without power.
Kenosha has the most outages, with just over 8,000 customers.
We Energies crews have their work cut out for them, with nearly 400 different outages reported across the region.

4:06 p.m. — Highway 33 in Dodge County has been closed to traffic due to storm damage, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says.
“Highway 33 (Lake Street) is currently closed due to substantial damage to the fronts of multiple downtown buildings. Emergency crews are working to stabilize the structures before the roadway can safely reopen. Commercial motor vehicles, including semis and heavy equipment, should NOT travel through Horicon at this time. Detours for commercial traffic have been established,” the Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook.
4:04 p.m. — The two left lanes on I-94 eastbound at CTH T in Waukesha County are closed due to water over the roadway.

4:02 p.m. — The Kekoskee Fire Department is assisting with storm damage in Horicon, the department posted on Facebook.
TMJ4 News has multiple crews on the way to Horicon and we will update when we know more.

3:49 p.m. — Horicon seems to be one of the hardest-hit areas so far during today’s severe storms. Danny Boy’s Irish Pub sent us these photos of damage in the downtown area.

3:41 p.m. — A 94-mile-per-hour wind gust was reported at the Oshkosh airport as storms moved through Wednesday afternoon.
Numerous trees and power lines were reported down as well.
3:34 p.m. — More than 17,000 We Energies customers are currently without power as severe storms move through southeast Wisconsin.
As of 3:34 p.m., Watertown had more than 3,000 customers without power, followed by Milwaukee with 2,400, and Sussex with 2,300.

3:31 p.m. — The mayor of Horion is advising residents to stay out of downtown due to severe storms.
“Stay out of downtown. Period,” Mayor Josh Maas posted to Facebook.
