Multiple Collier County deputies and Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded Wednesday afternoon to a scene along I-75 near the Pine Ridge Road exit.
According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were serving a search warrant in the area when the suspect ran.
CCSO said deputies are currently searching for the suspect, and no one has been taken into custody at this time.
A Gulf Coast News crew at the scene spotted a helicopter circling the area.
Southbound traffic along I-75 is experiencing some delays at this time.
