India wicket-keeper KS Bharat has taken to social media to announce his retirement from international cricket.
Bharat retires having represented India at Test level on seven occasions, with his last appearance coming against England at Visakhapatnam in February 2024.
The 32-year-old retires with a total of 221 runs for India and 19 dismissals as keeper, with his highest score of 44 coming against Australia in Ahmedabad in 2023.

That effort saw Bharat win a spot in India's XI for the ICC World Test Championship Final against Australia at The Oval in June that same year, with the right-hander managing 23 runs in the second innings of the match and picking up five dismissals behind the stumps.
"With a proud heart and a sense of gratitude, I announce my retirement from international cricket," Bharat posted on social media.
"To play for my country has been the greatest honour of my life."
Bharat paid special tribute to former India captains Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma and singled out ex-coach Rahul Dravid for the role he had in his development.
"A big thank you to my IPL debut captain Virat Kohli for giving me an opportunity to show my skill and come into recognition," Bharat wrote.
"A big thank you to my Indian captain Rohit Sharma, under whom I made my Test debut, which is priceless and beyond words.
"To my Indian coach Rahul Dravid sir, his guidance from India A to Indian team is unforgettable. With your support, I could become an Indian Test cricketer."
