A 24-year-old woman has accused a man known to her of sexually harassing her inside a moving car in Delhi’s Mandawali area. Police have arrested the accused after registering an FIR based on her complaint.
The woman alleged that she secretly recorded the incident on her mobile phone while trying to persuade the man to let her leave the vehicle. The video has emerged as a key piece of evidence in the case, according to the complaint.

According to the complaint, the accused invited the woman out on the pretext of eating momos. During the drive, he allegedly said he needed to refill the vehicle with CNG before steering the car towards a deserted location.

The woman alleged that the accused began making sexually explicit remarks, pressured her to have sex and touched her inappropriately. She also claimed he prevented her from getting out of the vehicle despite her repeated requests.
Mandawali Police registered an FIR under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The accused has been arrested, and further investigation is underway.
A video purportedly recorded by the woman during the alleged incident captures her repeatedly asking the accused to let her go.
In the footage, the woman can be heard saying, “If you even touch me, I’ll jump in front of a vehicle and end my life.”
According to ANI, the video also contains abusive language and sexually explicit remarks allegedly made during the encounter.
