Moviegoers, listen up! Amazon is offering up free tickets to the new Spider-Man movie. Yup, you read that correctly, free tickets. Now, if you’re one of those AMC movie membership people, this may not concern you, but if you’re not, this is right where you need to be. There’s no denying that film tickets have gone up in price (along with everything else in this economy), so being able to go to the theater and watch a brand new movie for free, not even for less, but for free, is a big deal.
And it doesn’t stop there — Amazon is pulling out some serious stops this summer, and we have all the details you need to know to partake.
Simple, you have to be a Prime member… well, a Young Adult Prime member, to be exact. The mega e-retailer launched the Young Adult Prime memberships back in 2024 to give college students, post-grads, or anyone who’s 18 to 24 a break on shopping with them. The membership is significantly cheaper than a regular Prime account but still offers the same benefits. And according to the site, “Prime Young Adults can claim a FREE ticket to see Spider-Man: Brand New Day in theaters.”
Unfortunately, if you’re outside the age range, there’s not much you can do (sorry about that). But if you are in the age range (ah, lucky you), then all you have to do is sign up for an account and make sure it’s valid and active. Meaning if you had a Young Adult membership but canceled it, then that won’t work. But luckily, you can either reactivate your account for just $7.50 a month or sign up for a new one entirely, also for free for one week. New Young Adult Memberships are free for the first six months. So really, it’s like getting two great things for free!

Once you sign up or log in, there should be a big banner across your Amazon home page that’ll prompt you to “Claim 1 Free Ticket” (see below for example). From there, you’ll be directed to Fandango, where a unique promotional code will be automatically added to your booking.
With the ticket, you’ll be able to see a standard or early-access screening of the new Spider-Man movie at any participating theater where it’s playing. But make sure to read the terms and conditions here to get all the details you need.
Not too long! The promotion dropped this morning and is set to run until the end of July or while supplies last — whichever comes first. With movie tickets already so expensive and this film highly anticipated, I can’t imagine they’ll last long. So hurry up and claim your ticket now!
