Honor has officially detailed its June 2026 MagicOS 10 experience update, introducing one of the biggest feature-packed releases yet for its Android 16-based operating system. The update expands the capabilities of the company’s YOYO AI assistant, adds new privacy protections, introduces richer lock screen customization, and enhances the Dynamic Capsule experience with sports scores and navigation support.
The latest update demonstrates Honor’s growing focus on AI-powered productivity, personalization, and privacy while delivering a smoother overall system experience.
A major highlight of the June update is the launch of enhanced YOYO AI Creation features. Users can now access AI-powered image creation directly through the AI Key, allowing one-tap access to AI image generation and editing tools. Honor says the feature is designed to make creative content generation faster and more accessible.
YOYO AI Creation also receives a range of new artistic templates, including:
These additions provide users with more options for creating social media content and personalized artwork.
Honor is further expanding YOYO’s intelligence with support for Time Mapping, enabling users to search and organize memories through images more efficiently. The update also introduces a dedicated educational companion assistant for tablets, aimed at improving learning and productivity experiences for students.
One particularly useful addition is YOYO Queue Reminder support. The assistant can now track queue numbers from supported services and provide real-time updates, showing whether users are still waiting, have been called, or have missed their turn.
Honor has also enhanced voice control capabilities by allowing YOYO to perform certain WeChat operations through voice commands. Additionally, a new female voice option has been added, offering more natural and human-like interactions.
Among the most notable new additions is AI Anti-Peeping Screen.
The feature uses artificial intelligence to detect when someone may be attempting to look at a user’s display and automatically activates privacy protection mechanisms to prevent sensitive information from being exposed. Users can customize protection styles and choose which apps are protected.
This enhancement could prove particularly valuable in public spaces such as airports, offices, trains, and cafes.
Honor has also introduced Virtual Permissions, a feature designed to limit what apps can access.
When enabled, applications requesting access to contacts, call logs, messages, or calendar information receive blank data instead of actual user information. This adds an extra layer of privacy protection without completely blocking app functionality.
MagicOS 10’s Dynamic Capsule receives a major upgrade.
The feature now supports:
Honor has also refined the visual appearance of the Dynamic Capsule with new transparency effects and gradient animations for a more modern look.
Customization receives significant attention in the June update.
New additions include:
Users can also customize how home screen editing gestures work, choosing between long-press, pinch gestures, or both.
Honor says it has refined app transitions, gesture navigation, media playback animations, and overall system responsiveness.
The update also introduces rotating album artwork animations during music playback and improves connection stability for Honor’s device ecosystem. Battery life, camera performance, and overall system stability have also been optimized.
In addition to new features, the June release integrates the Android May 2026 security patch, delivering important security improvements and protections against newly discovered vulnerabilities.
Honor confirms that the update will roll out across a wide range of devices, including:
Availability may vary by model and region.
The June 2026 MagicOS 10 update is one of Honor’s most ambitious software releases yet. With advanced YOYO AI capabilities, AI Anti-Peeping Screen privacy protection, Virtual Permissions, richer Dynamic Capsule functionality, and expanded customization options, Honor is continuing to push MagicOS toward a more intelligent and personalized user experience.
The update not only introduces new AI-powered tools but also delivers meaningful privacy, productivity, and usability improvements that users are likely to notice every day.
