Will see capacity deployed at NeutraDC Batam data center in Indonesia
Gorilla Technology Group has secured a five-year AI compute contract with an unnamed customer.
Valued at $2.5 billion over the duration, the contract will see Gorilla deploying GPUs at NeutraDC’s Batam data center in Indonesia.
The first phase will include 1,000 B300 GPU servers, which alone will generate $1.3bn in revenue over the five-year period. The first phase is targeting deployment in September 2026, and the second in December 2026. The remaining capacity will be deployed will be delivered in the first half of 2027.
The identity of the customer has not been shared, but it is described as a “high investment-grade global technology customer.”
“Gorilla’s AI infrastructure strategy is now moving from secured capacity to contracted revenue,” said Jay Chandan, chairman and CEO of Gorilla Technology.
“Gorilla is now expanding from a security intelligence and smart infrastructure company into a global AI infrastructure execution platform. We are building across South & East Asia, Middle East, India, and other high-demand AI compute markets because the world does not have enough deployable AI capacity, and customers want partners that can move quickly, structure intelligently, and deliver at scale.
“This contract is a major validation of that strategy. This is not a pipeline story. This is not an aspiration. This is signed customer demand, secured data center capacity, executable deployment timing, and bankable economics.”
The company has secured debt financing to cover approximately 70 percent of the expected project costs.
Gorilla signed a capacity agreement with NeutraDC in May 2026 for 5.5MW of capacity.
NeutraDC topped out one of its Batam data centers in October 2025. Located at Kabil Industrial Estate, a tech park on the island of Batam across the strait from Singapore, the facility is expected to provide more than 50MW of capacity. The company has a second facility in the park.
The company, which describes itself as an AI infrastructure solutions provider with solutions spanning smart cities, network, video analytics, cybersecurity, and IoT, said at the time that it intends to scale its offtake from NeutraDC to approximately 18MW by November of this year.
The company signed a three-year, $1.4 billion contract last year with Singaporean cloud provider Freyr to develop a network of AI-powered data centers, and in April 2026, Gorilla signed a deal with India’s Yotta to deploy more than 25,000 GPUs across the country.
Elsewhere, Gorilla is planning to develop a 200MW data center in Thailand.
